Temporary Reduction in Fly540 Tanzania Flying Schedule
04 October 2012To all of our valued Customers,
Re: Temporary Reduction in Fly540 Tanzania Flying Schedule
As you may have heard, the Fly540 business in Tanzania will shortly go through significant positive business changes; with the result that flights operated by Fly540 will progressively transfer to the new and exciting carrier for Tanzania called fastjet.
fastjet will be the first truly low cost, low fares airline for this region, revolutionizing air travel and bringing world class standards of safety, efficiency and reliability. Operating a modern fleet of A319 aircraft, fastjet aims to quickly become the carrier of choice, by both the travelling public and our travel partners.
For this key transitional period and in order for fastjet to fully prepare for the start of flights next month, FLY540 will be temporarily reducing selected flights. This will allow for essential business/equipment upgrades and essential staff training.
Therefore, with effect from Saturday 13 October 2012, the following flights will be temporarily suspended:-
Dar es Salaam to Mwanza Mwanza to Dar es Salaam
Dar es Salaam to Kilimanjaro Kilimanjaro to Dar es Salaam
Kilimanjaro to Zanzibar Zanzibar to Dar es Salaam
For the period 05-12 October, all above flights are operating as per schedule.
For all passengers currently booked and ticketed for travel from 13 October on the above routes, we will offer an option to rebook with another carrier for the same date/route at no additional cost or, if preferred, a full refund.
Please contact our DAR Reservations Centre on +255 788 540 540 or email us at jean.uku@fly540.com to process either request.
There are NO CHANGES to flights with FLY540 on the following routes which will continue to operate as per schedule:-
Nairobi to Zanzibar Zanzibar to Nairobi
Mombasa to Zanzibar Zanzibar to Mombasa
Nairobi to Dar es Salaam Dar es Salaam to Nairobi
Thank you for you understanding and cooperation.
